Advanced Pools and Spas was formed in 2024 through a partnership between Jimmy Nicklas, a Texas-trained custom pool builder with 10 years of high end pool construction experience, and the family behind Advanced Concrete Services, the bonded, licensed, insured concrete contractor that has been the trusted regional partner for projects across Northwest Arkansas since 2010.

Jimmy spent a decade building custom in ground pools across Texas, learning the trade from masters of gunite shell work, tile, deck integration, and water feature design. When his family relocated to Northwest Arkansas, he saw a region whose new home market was outpacing its supply of pool builders who actually knew how to design for backyard, slope, and Ozark soil. The partnership with Chris Moffett and the Advanced Concrete Services team gave him the construction backbone, scheduling discipline, and trust signals that a brand new pool company would otherwise need years to earn.

What this gets you, beyond a pool that holds water, is one accountable team for the entire project. The deck, the equipment pad, the outdoor kitchen slab, and the retaining wall behind the pool all flow through the same crew. No subcontractor finger pointing. No two contractors blaming each other for the gap between the coping and the patio.

We carry full liability insurance, are backed by a BBB accredited concrete contractor with 15 years of NWA work, and book on a calendar we share with you before the contract is signed. If we say first swim by July, we mean July.
